Manila, Philippines September 2009 - Epson, a world leader in digital imaging and printing solutions, has now made it possible to print high-quality A3+ color documents and photos at a more affordable price with the launch of the Epson Stylus^® Office T1100.  Epson's first A3+ capable office inkjet printer is geared towards providing more productivity while maintaining high quality for small and home offices (SOHO), as well as small and medium enterprises (SME) users with the launch of its first A3+ capable office inkjet printer: the Epson Stylus^® Office T1100.

The Epson Stylus^® Office T1100, designed for SOHO and SMEs users, features advanced Epson Micro Piezo print head technology with Epson DURABrite^TM Ultra pigment inks that offer affordable, high quality prints of up to A3+ size (329 x 483mm). This makes the Epson Stylus^® Office T1100 ideal for users who need to create A3+ sized materials like marketing posters, charts, diagrams or large spreadsheet tables. Offering market-leading print speeds of 30 and 17 A4-sized pages-per-minute for black and colour printing respectively⁽¹⁾, it is also one of the most affordable and fastest A3+ capable inkjet printers in the market.

Class-Leading Print Quality
The Epson Stylus^® Office T1100 features the proprietary Epson Micro Piezo^TM print head with Variable-Sized Droplet Technology (VSDT) that achieves a maximum print resolution of 5760 x 1440 dpi for extremely smooth image gradations. The Epson Micro Piezo^TM print head is extremely durable, reducing the risk of downtime and maintenance costs.

Durable, Cost-Efficient Prints
The Epson Stylus^® Office T1100 also employs separate DURABrite^TM Ultra inks contained in Epson's INKdividual^® cartridge system, so users only need to replace the color that has run out instead of changing the full set of inks, minimizing wastage and maximizing cost savings. To help high volume printing users save even more costs, larger capacity versions of the black and color INKdividual^® cartridges that offer higher yield and lower cost per page are also available for the Epson Stylus^® Office T1100.

In line with Epson's global directive of providing products that are friendly to the environment, the printer is also Energy Star certified for its low power consumption of only 26 watts when printing. This is up to three times lower than conventional laser printers ⁽²⁾ and helps users save on energy costs.

The advanced Epson DURABrite^TM Ultra ink used by the Epson Stylus^® Office T1100 is made from insoluble particles of resin-coated pigments for brilliant looking documents and photos. The quick drying pigments give prints a perfect sheen and makes them instantly water, smudge and fade resistant after printing - even on plain paper. Epson DURABrite^TM Ultra prints are also highly resistant to smudges and can resist fading for over 120 years. ⁽³⁾

The Epson Stylus^® Office T1100 is affordably priced at P12,295 and will be available from October 2009.
