What is it?
Ideal for affordable, everyday black text or colour printing on plain paper, Epson DURABrite Ultra is a special pigment ink that gives users the benefits of rich, vibrant prints that are extremely durable as well.  

Rich, vibrant black text, bright colour prints
Unlike the colourants in dye-based ink, Epson DURABrite Ultra pigment ink is composed of black or coloured particles that are water-insoluble and coated with a special resin to help them adhere to the media better. So, these particles are able to “rest” on the surface of even porous materials like plain paper, making prints look sharp and detailed, with rich black text or colours and without ink bleeds.

With ink droplets of the same size, Epson DURABrite Ultra pigment inks have a smaller spread into the fibers of plain paper compared to dye-based inks, resulting in sharper looking text and images

Smudge and Water Resistant
Epson DURABrite Ultra’s water-insoluble pigment particles and their strong adherence to media also make prints smudge and water resistant immediately after printing!

Fade Resistant
Prints using Epson DURABrite Ultra ink have a fade resistance of 120 years, even on plain or matte paper without special coating. This allows documents to be used or archived for a long period of time.
